Spinal Decompression Table
Spinal Decompression provides relief to severe back and neck pain sufferers by gently reducing the pressure within spinal discs. The bones of the spine are slowly and methodically separated using the DTS Spinal Decompression Unit.
How Does This Unit Work?
As the vertebrae are separated pressure is slowly reduced within the disc (intradiscal pressure) until a vacuum is formed. This vacuum “sucks” the gelatinous center of the disc back inside thereby reducing the disc bulge or disc herniation. Significant disc bulge reduction removes pressure off the spinal nerves and drastically reduces pain and disability. This “sucking” vacuum also pulls much-needed oxygen, nutrients and fluid into injured and degenerated discs allowing the healing to begin. The treatment motion is computer controlled to provide gentle and painless decompression of the injured spinal discs.
Erchonia Cold Laser
Is a low-level laser, which is the first laser to receive FDA approval for the treatment of chronic pain and carpal tunnel syndrome.
How Does This Unit Work?
Cold Laser is a painless, non-invasive treatment. Each treatment ranges anywhere from a few minutes to 30 minutes, depending on the nature of the condition. Regular treatments are ideal for proper treatment and healing. The number of treatments varies with each condition. Low-level laser therapy is considered to be one of the safest treatments available today.
Pilates Exercise System
This is an exercise system that is focused on building strength without bulk, improving flexibility and agility, and helping to prevent injury.
It was developed in the 1920s by Joseph H. Pilates, who was a physical trainer and founder of The New York Pilates Studio®. It involves a series of controlled movements that engage both your body and mind.
Pilates utilizes specifically designed exercise apparatus and is supervised by highly trained teachers.
Pilates exercise system was initially created for rehabilitation, but was later adopted by dancers and athletes and is now utilized by millions.
A beginner class generally consists of very gentle exercises done on a mat in either a sitting or lying down position. The primary focus is on awareness of the spine, proper breathing, core strength and flexibility. The outcome of Pilates training is a balanced body which is strong and supple, flat stomach, balanced legs, and a strong back.
